AKM Ershad Ullah was born and raised in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He
moved to Canada in 2004 for higher education. He holds a Bachelor of
Science degree, with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Finance
from Independent University in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Later he obtained
a Master of Engineering degree in Information System Security
Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. While
completing his undergraduate and graduate degrees, Ershad was employed
within a number of different industries mainly in private sector,
numerous IT and engineering firms are on top of his employer list. Also,
he was actively involved in academic research during his Master degree
at Concordia University. In June 2010, Ershad completed his MBA degree
from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a specialization
in Strategic Management. As an MBA student at Dalhousie University, he
participated in Student Research Symposium 2010, Clearwater Marketing
Case Competition 2009, and MBA International Summer Program in Mexico
2010.
